PA1 - Together for Africa

pamoja - together

The word “pamoja” (Pa1) comes from Swahili and means “together”. This motto characterizes the work of our association, which is committed to working together for Africa. Pa1 mainly supports young women in Kigamboni, Tanzania, by encouraging them to help themselves. Particular attention is paid to training in tailoring so that the women have the opportunity to pursue a profession independently. In addition, they also receive training in hairdressing and computer courses so that they can find employment in an office. This support is intended to help the women find their way into self-employment and thus improve their lives.
